Magma Almudron

The magma rock on Magma Almudron's tail strikes with greater force as it grows larger. Keep an eye on that rock, for striking it can cause it to explode. When the rock heats and softens, whether Magma Almudron is building a rock or has just finished burrowing, that is the opening. Knowing when the rock is in that heated, softened state is key to striking at the right moment.
