The shell of Basarios shrugs off most hits. Focus on the belly until the plating breaks. Once that plating breaks, the shell opens and heavy damage can be dealt. Keep an eye on parts that glow molten after its fire attacks. Those parts soften while they are hot, so strike them before they cool.
